Solar Installation Process

Before our Solar consultant comes to you to discuss your options, we do our homework. Using satellite imagery, we will assess your property to ensure all recommendations are tailored to you. Many aspects of your property will be carefully analysed, such as the position of your home and the amount of sunlight likely to be hitting your property. If you have indicated that you’d like to use solar power outside of daylight hours, your system recommendation will incorporate at least one storage battery.

One of our solar experts will arrange to visit you for a no-obligation home consultation to get a clear understanding of your property and requirements, talk you through any questions you may have about our Solar Solutions, and make their recommendations. At this stage, we will be able to confirm the cost of your proposed solar project.

One of our solar technicians will visit your property to finalise the details of your install, looking at site access and any specific requirements unique to your property to make sure everything goes smoothly on the day. They will also be able to talk you through exactly what will happen on installation day, and answer any final queries you may have.

On the day of installation our full team of engineers, riggers and electricians will visit your home. At HRV we have a long and strong reputation of respecting the homes of our customers, so you can enjoy peace of mind knowing we’ll look after your home as if it were our own. Every Solar Solution is designed, produced and installed to the exact specifications of your property, ensuring your panels are positioned optimally to meet your energy requirements. After the installation, your meter will be swapped over to a two-way meter by your retailer. Before we leave we’ll talk you through everything you need to know about your new 21st century solar installation, from how it works to how you can make the most of it. Throughout the solar process you will have one point of contact to answer any questions and update you on your solar installation.
